Tuareg ceramic container from North Africa
This is a ceramic water container that I bought in high Atlas from a group of Tuareg. They use to attached these vases on the side of their camels or horses and transported water, grains and in some cases oil. I like the simple patters that are visible in henna like color and almost like an expression of a face, reminding me of Paul Klee drawings.
