This is a Moroccan knife from high atlas region. I was attracted by the simplicity and the heavy wear of the knife. I remember I purchased it on the side of a road, on the way to the Essaouira from an old man who was cutting his bread with it. He was kind enough to trade it for one of my carpets on which we sat down and shared bread and local honey together.
