Head piece from North Africa

This is a very old Berbers headpiece from Morocco. I found in the high Atlas region during one of my trips along with an old saddles and boots that were silver lined. I wish this would end up in a museum as I’ve never come across anything similar in all the years I spent in that region. I bought from a dealer, an old man, who was very well known. His clients included Mick Jagger, Christopher Gibbs, Franca Sozzani and many others. His tent set at the beginning of the Vally of Ourika.
